On the occasion of the Christmas celebrations, our beautiful Vendée region was illuminated with bright and cheerful ornaments that made young and old escape from the daily routine thanks to a warm atmosphere. 🎄
We were able to share beautiful moments throughout the territory: at logis de la Chabotterie, at Haras de Vendée to enjoy new shows, at the abbeys of the south Vendée that offered traditional Christmas carols, at Chateau de Tiffauges with its wooden carousel and its large Christmas market, not forgetting Saint-Jean-de-Monts where the biathlete champion Martin Fourcade came on the occasion of the city’s Christmas festival to animate several activities dedicated to mountain sports. ⛄
In Les Sables d’Olonne, some were aiming to start the new year with fresh ideas, and more precisely at 50F°. Indeed, it was the temperature of the water this Sunday, January 1, when 800 participants, dressed in 1970s colors, threw themselves into the water for the “Frost Bath”, the second busiest bath of the region. 🌊
Organized by the city with the help of volunteers and in partnership with Le Camino de l’Espoir, an association that helps the families of children with neuro-brain diseases or injuries.
Today, the entire Oceavilla team is taking the plunge and expressing its sincere gratitude, because together, we had a great 2022 and hope that 2023 will be all the more so. Thank you for allowing us to be by your side in the moments that matter to you. 🤗
